A Ballyfermot Road Southwest Campus Project

Building European partnerships, sharing ideas, and opening new opportunities through Erasmus+: ROC Nijmegen

Nijmegan_College_Visit

We were delighted to welcome colleagues from ROC Nijmegen to City of Dublin ETB FET College Ballyfermot for a highly inspiring visit focused on collaboration, innovation, and inclusive vocational education.

Over the course of the visit, there was a rich exchange of ideas around equity, basic skills, student wellbeing, micro-credentials, and vocational learning, with valuable insights shared by both institutions. It was especially encouraging to explore how our approaches can support learners from the very beginning of their educational journey and create meaningful progression opportunities.

We are excited about the potential this new Erasmus+ partnership brings from future staff CPD and shared professional learning to learner mobilities and international entrepreneurship exchanges.

A sincere thank you to Femke Spoeltman – van der Veen, Jeroen, and colleagues from ROC Nijmegen for visiting, engaging so positively, and helping lay the foundations for what promises to be a very exciting collaboration ahead.
