A hugely talented group of City of Dublin FET College, Ballyfermot students recently travelled to Malta as part of our ongoing Erasmus+ partnership with Din l-Art Ħelwa, the National Trust of Malta.
This marks the third year that students from the college have partnered with organisations in Malta, building on a strong and meaningful international collaboration that connects creative education with real-world cultural and heritage projects.
During the mobility, our students applied their skills across a range of professional creative outputs, including the production of corporate videos, as well as the design of postcards, prints and signage for Din l-Art Ħelwa. Their work supported the organisation’s important mission to promote, protect and conserve Malta’s national heritage, historic sites and cultural identity.
It was a real pleasure to witness such creativity, professionalism and enthusiasm from our students as they responded to a live brief with purpose and imagination. The project gave them an invaluable opportunity to develop their creative practice in an international setting, collaborate with a respected heritage organisation, and see how their skills can contribute meaningfully to conservation, storytelling and public engagement.
