The partnership between City of Dublin FET College, Ballyfermot Road, Southwest Campus and Helsinki Business College has brought significant benefits. Staff and students have attended marketing communications classes in Helsinki with other VET students, sharing best practices in digital marketing.
Joint student-exchange saw Ballyfermot Road students collaborating on sustainable business projects with their Finnish peers. Faculty from both colleges conducted a joint workshop on green entrepreneurship, hosted at Dublin, leading to new pedagogical approaches in the college. This involved exchange of invited experts from Helsinki Business College and Finnish Entrepreneurs.
Additionally, the college developed a link programme improving cultural awareness and sustainability. These activities strengthened international collaboration, enhanced vocational competencies, and broadened cultural horizons for all participants.
